has anyone had double glazing by this company? they've been bugging me for about 16 weeks now, their original quote of £3350 is now down to £2300 and i've still turned them down, i'm angling for a budget of £2000. can anyone give me any positive or negative reports about them?

no. i'm just going to keep knocking them down. the spec is 8no georgian bar with toughened glass, doesn't seem a bad price but i can imagine their fitters tunring up with a load of mastik and me recieving windows from a cancelled job, so would like to know if anyone has experience of their fitting?
ideally i would like to use a smaller, local company, the reality is that these companies are coming in at nearly £4k, ..... one said locally company has just literally called me to see if theres anything ''special'' they can do with the price

the other local company who i would rather go with offered me finance. originally it was £105 over 10 years (!) or £170 over 5 years (circa)
i said i didn't like the triple figures and i didn't want it over 10 years. the young lad who was doing the demo rang his manager, got it to £106 over 5 years (bare in mind they'd quoted me £105 over 10 years originally!) and i said i couldn't do triple figures and i had a figure more like £90 in my head/budget over 5 years. he rang his manager again and said ' my manager's told me he's hit his ceiling point at £96' i said i wouldn't do it and he left. they rang me today and they will do it for £76 a month over 5 years! i haven't signed up, i swear they're selling loans, not windows!
