Last time I got a speeding ticket was in 1999, an SP30. So not doing too bad I think. I replayed my video and I was doing between 25 and 30 through all those streets and speeded up to 34mph going over the other side of the hill. A flipping car was flashing his lights at me coming the other way as-well.

Yeah 54 in a 30 got me a ban years 10 years ago, I'd be surprised if 74 in a 30 doesn't.

She didn't admit it to the officer, just to me.

She's hoping to avoid it by using her Spanish driving licence. However she has been in the UK for a few years now, has a full UK licence and is the registered keeper of her car.

Even if she shows her Spanish one she will still get done. It's an EU wide licence and she's still in the UK.

Also if the courts notice she has a UK one and is trying to hide it, I doubt they will be lenient.

The driver was one of 15 motorists who were caught speeding in Middlewich Road between 3.49pm and 4.46pm on February 14.

Somebody was expecting something on Valentine's Day.

Well I don't know what you mean by "worse", but assuming you're talking about prison, you cannot go to prison for speeding, or driving without due care and attention. You'd need to be up on a charge of dangerous driving. The CPS website has some interesting reading on the differences, and what factors are taken in to account.

Your screenshot suggests you were doing a GPS 30MPH anyway... Don't worry. Even a GPS 35MPH would mean you're unlucky if you get a letter through the door, and that would be an indicated 38~ I'd imagine.
