found a great site for soaps http://www.sensational-indulgences.co.uk/goshopping_28822/cat_13040-Shaving-Soaps.html i ordered one of the travel sized sandalwood soaps and recived it today its top notch

that is cheap but you can get 6 soaps from ebay for about £15 (full size ones) whereas on that website its about £40 for 6, amazing the different flavours there are though, but i was told these soaps only tend to last a month or two whereas trumpers should last you 6-9 months and it only costs £8.50 for a trumper refill

have you tried a 3 or 4 going with the grain? I'd give it a shot, but it might not be close enough for you. Then again, if you're happy with the 2against the grain, why change?

i tried this again with the new blade, it was a lot closer than the merkur but still far from smooth, it was as if i had shaved the day before, i still had 1 day stubble, maybe with the feathers i might get a decent shave with the grain but i doubt it

Best way to have a shave is to do it after a bath/shower, this is for some reason i cant remember something about your face being hot and clean. Then have the shave, i use cheap bic razors and ive used them for 15 years and never cut myself. i always use a new razor every time. I only shave every 5 days or so since my job doesnt need me to shave and i can be a hairy "monkey".

Then, the most important bit, splash your face with a lot of cold water this closes up the pours and stops dirt/infection getting in. I use nivia after shave balm and my skin always feels silky smooth... for at least 12 hours until the stubble starts to come back. ;)

i would edit out that sweary, also i doubt a cheap bic razor gets anywhere near as close to a mach 3 never mind a safety razor
