Sage bean to cup

Supermarket beans are trash I tried loads of them back when I first got sage express 10 years ago.
Agreed, difference between freshly roasted and the stuff that's been sat in a bag for months is night and day. You notice this straight away.

OP - If you're going down the route of paying £££ for a grinder/espresso machine then definitely give some fresh beans a go. I use Coffee Compass fwiw, and I have a Sage grinder. If it's the same parts in the B2C machine then you should get great results.

I do like the look of that Ninja machine though

It depends if you want to enjoy your coffee or not! either way coffee at home is a lot cheaper then buying them from a coffee shop.

law of diminishing returns ..

just realised I have never walked into a nero/starbucks (not even for a coffee in the uk) .. to see if you can get any beans in that middle price range, but explicit roast date.
