Perhaps I'm just entitled or something. I don't get this idea that certain supermarkets are catered towards certain clientele. I've never found own brand stuff to be worth buying over brands. I'm also not gonna spend half the day going round to different shops buying one item out of each to save a tenner. Reminds me of after the war going to each different shop for your fish, meat, bread, milk. Can't get half the stuff I want in Aldi or Lidl. The stuff I buy is the same in all the rest at random different prices. Not got the time of day to check whether Mccains chips cost 30p less in Sainbury's than Asda. Do I care if the person at the till smiles and says hi? Not really, as long as they scan my shopping correctly.
Worked in the warehouse for Screwfix while a student and covered warehouse manager/supervisor more recently in a couple of different jobs. It is the same for most types of work though.
