lol... you need to ask yourself is it worth it for something that most likely cost less than £4

in my experience being nice and polite usually gets you more ;)

Just take them back next time you go shopping. They will take them back. No need to go in kicking up a fuss, they have customer service policies :)

Don't, as i'll just laugh at you if it was me behind the counter.

I've done it twice to people already today.

Be nice, people in supermarkets are still human beings and in most cases don't get paid enough to deserve crap. :)

I'm a manager in a supermarket, and yes, we, like Sainsbury's, do have customer service policies that are incredibly favourable towards the customer (IMO too favourable!)

Just be polite and explain the situation, and I'm confident you'll get your money back, even though they can't be re-sold (like I said, too favourable!)

If you kick up a fuss, chances are you would get nowhere fast, and you'd become known to both the customer service colleagues and the store security team; I can't speak for Sainsbury's but I know where I work, the security team work incredibly closely with the customer service desk team, and have had to adpot a 'zero tolerance'-style approach to people "kicking up a fuss" (Note I'm fully aware that this can range from merely raising your voice to an all-out physical attack).

Purely FYI of course :)

People who "kick up a fuss" with me get relegated to the letter of the policy in question. People who are nice get me going quite significantly "out of my way" to help...
