I'm not upset, bit dissapointed as there was the prospect of cheap booze, but I did expect it to turn out this way.Nozzer said:I love how everybody gets upset when something that is explicitly stated in the T&C is actually acted upon.![]()
That's fine then. I never expected to receive my order either. I was pleasantly surprised when it turned up.Evil-Penguin said:I'm not upset, bit dissapointed as there was the prospect of cheap booze, but I did expect it to turn out this way.
the thing i dont understand, pricing errors occur and if the price is wrong they do not have to sell it at advertised price.Rotty said:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6178095.stm

"Other online shopping glitches have included Kodak's offer of a digital camera for £100 - instead of £329 - in 2002.
Kodak tried to argue the price was a mistake, but backed down after disgruntled customers threatened legal action. "

so firstly they said no, then consumers threatened legal action but kodak would have won! so im confused to see why they backed down.
and also they are a multi million(perhaps billion) dollar firm so they could easily afford the legal costs
Rotty said:When the orders were placed with Kodak a confirmation email was received, the legal issues arose because the email referred to "this contract" , thus the contract was deemed to have been formed and the offer of payment accepted

16000 x £60 = £ 960,000.00
16000 x £22 = £ 352,000.00
That's a bit of a hit !
