Am really enjoying this game butjust cannot finish this mission!

I am stuck on the Rollerz boss mission, the one where you have to blow the cars up on the truck then blow the cab up.

Anyone got any tips?

I tried following several walkthroughs and just cannot beat it!

Surely this should be an easy mission

I vaguely remember this one. Is it the one where the first part you drive to somewhere, and then the second part is the bit blowing the truck up?

I think I had a simialr annoyance at this mission. Unfortunately it was so long ago I can't remember how I did it. Perseverance I think. WHat is the mission called?
 
played this for the first time the other day, I was more than a little shocked when I found out the first thing I have to do is beat up random men (and women) and rob their money to save up for a gun.

How on earth did you not know what this game was about? Did you not even look at the box when you bought it?!
 
That mission and the Last mission took me AGES!!!!! IIRC i got a big heavy fast car and lots of homies, the homies should keep the cars off your back and you just shoot the cars off the truck. I think i just did it in time as my car was screwed at the end. You have to get there FAST and shoot the cars FAST as you still need to shoot the cab at the end.

Keep trying, you will soon got it...
 
One tip - I can't remember exactly how you do it but adjust your control scheme so that you can drive with your left thumbstick (i.e. accelerate by pressing forward). It is much easier this way so you can keep alongside the truck at a steady speed and shoot the cars. That way your right hand is only doing two things (aiming with the right stick and firing with the RT and not having to accelerate with X as well). It worked for me after 3/4 goes.
 
Beat this mission the other day but now am stuck on the very final mission!!!

The one where you have to blow up the plane, anyone got any tips for this one!
 
This is propably the worst mission as it dosent have a checkpoint just before the Airport scene so you have to keep driving there everytime you restart.

I think there are only about 4-5 rocket men, if you read a good walkthrough guide (games faq is good) it should tell you where they are, Dont worry about the cars, just try and kill all the rocket men first time round then just shoot the plane when you killed them all.

It is a hard mission but worth it in the end. I took me a good 5 or 6 sittings to beat it.
