Saint's Row Demo coming to Live!

THQ told IGN today it's developing a Saints Row demo for an August 1 release date on Xbox Live Marketplace.

The Southern California publisher first leaked the information on Volition's Saints Row Website, and confirmed it today with IGN via telephone. With the game slated for an August 29 release date, the August 1 demo will provide gamers with single-player content. Anti-Internet luddites can also get the demo via the Official Xbox Magazine DVD.

I don't know about you, but I can't wait! It will at least fill up the wait for GTA4

dont know why but i think this could be really good, it caught my eye pre-E3 and then what i saw from e3 looked like theyd improved it a lot..

pft, lazy! hehe. You can get double points from GAme if you preorder so I guess thats a nice deal but its not the cheapest place to get it from in the first place. Wait until August time for the good deals to start appearing.

I'm happy now as it's purely an alternative to GTA4 and not Xbox360's version of it (as GTA4 is coming to Xbox360 aswell!).

Still though, despite it not even being July its only what 5 or so weeks away 0 good to know when its coming.

Same logic as people getting excited about the world cup despite it occuring every 4 years.

It looks a LOT like Grand Theft Auto, which i think is a good thing, as October 2007 is a long way off.
