Saitek Eclipse PC Keyboard

ill be getting rid of my Saitek Eclipse keyboard soon for the logitech G15 keyboard , just a personal choice as the keys are backlit and that the bind keys acctaully do something with the G15 and that it has a key to disable the windows button :D uber if you ask me! i've not even used the extra pad with the Saitek as it only has a limited choice of profiles for games, where logitech over rules most. or might wait for the Optimus Keyboard which is the most uber idea ive seen in a long time.

Hope you enjoy ya Saitek mate , i have the silver one with the blue backlight , its okay, a good design , no complaints really apart from what i said erlyer

Lol, I wish the people who are giving reviews of this keyboard where actualy on about the right one! The silver Saitek keyboard with the extra pad is not an Eclipse its the Saitek Gamers board and its different and a few ways. For a start the keys on the eclipse are backlit unlike the Gamers board so you can actually see the letters in the dark, the feel and response on the Eclipse keys is a lot better, and the finishing on the letters is better. I've used both so know what there like. I've had my Eclipse for about a year now and its used every day and I have no signs of the paint coming off any of the letters even w, a, s & d and I game a lot.
If your going to comment and give the op some advice on a keyboard make sure your at least talking about the right one before slagging it off.

Agreed. See my post above if you are confused about which is which and what the differences are.
A lot of people seem to be saying how good the keys are on the Eclipse... i find them horrible, really soft and no click and it rattles. I wonder if i got a dodgy one or something...

agreed on all accounts :)

- the keys are easy to use in all lighting conditions, including darkness
- construction and feel is great
- had mine for several months too - no sign of any wear and tear at all.

Best keyboard I've ever owned :)
(although to be fair, it was slightly more expensive than my usual cheapo keyboards - but I still can't fault it)
