** Saitek Pro Flight X55 **

So tempting! I'll be able to use my University's equipment next month though making this a bit of a redundant purchase. Would be a nice addition though.

THE best is probably the thrust master warthog. But that's north of £300. This seems to be the happy medium between features and price. Get a crappy stick first to get used to before going bigger id say. Everyone sucks with a HOTAS at first. But that temporary downgrade in ability results in a long term gain that KB/M or a controller will never reach.

What's a good crappy flight stick to get?

Ok, its been over two months... who tf won the free joystick?

there was a customer picked and contacted at random to win the free one.

we are expecting fresh stock very soon.

X55 is due next week

X52 and X53 Pro is due at the end of the month.

X52 is nice, just need to do two simple mods and it works a treat.

Extra magnets on the sensors (takes 5mins to fit even your nan could do it) (£2 off ebay)
Penny Washer or stiff plastic with a slot in it that you place on top of the spring (takes 2 mins)

Although i really fancy a warthog, wonder if i you got the thrustmaster racing pedals you could use those for the twist.

If you have a more in depth look you shall see lots of bad feedback too. To sum mine up very shortly, one of the springs didn't work, the joystick just wouldn't centre. The h2 hat would stick when moving to the right and even on the loosest throttle setting I found the throttle unit lifting up from my desk because it's way too light.
If it didn't have those problems I'd still have been disappointed because I've had better quality children's toys than that.
I guess I was expecting something with a bit of a premium feel for that price but I didn't get it. Only got it for Elite, sent back for a refund.
