Hi guys I really need some help choosing a monitor. Been doing research now for a couple of weeks but still haven't seem to get anywhere!

I'm looking for a 24" monitor for watching DVDs, gaming, general office work.

Budget is upto £250 or so.

It does NOT need to have any of the following specs, but I dont mind if they do:

Built in speakers
Portrait mode
TV tuner

It does need to have DVI (for PC connection) and HDMI for connecting to PS3 and Xbox.

The following monitors is what I've (sort of ) narrowed it down to:

1. Asus VW246H http://uk.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=zMRyN4KB5o5rSqKr

2. Samsung 2494HM http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-106-SA&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat=

thanks guys. MERRY XMAS

Thanks for the suggestion. I've read some mixed reviews about the Iiyama ProLite B2409HDS 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor, but its seems pretty good value for a 24" screen.

Anyone got experience / views on the monitors above.

Plus...is there much difference between 1920x1080 Vs 1920x1200? I'm by no means a professional gamer or graphics designer...just want a solid all round monitor for gaming and dvds/PS3?

How about this monitor which I have just got after much deliberation. As good as any Tn screen I've seen and the connectivity is fantastic. I didn't get it from Ocuk.

Comes with a remote control which is very handy and lets you into all the monitor settings as well as normal TV functions. Good luck.:)
