Hey 8pack, can you help me tweak and improve my 2nd and 3rd timings? I've no idea where to start or which numbers are the most important outside of the 1st timings but id like some extra performance if possible.

These are my current overclocked stable settings.

Can you not squeeze 1T out of them? That will bump your performance up, as well as DRAM Refresh Cycle Time 96.

If you're running 16GB though I suspect that may be hard on the IMC. (I thought you sold 8GB a while ago mate?)

I use the 2nd and 3rds from 8 Pack's 2400MHz profile and they work brilliantly @ 2133MHz 9,10,10,21,1T,88 and benchmarks show a surprising increase over the defaults.

I've tried but i just can't get it stable. Even with silly loose timings i just can't get 1T to work with 16gb. With 8gb it works. I decided to keep 16gb for future proofing. I also tested the difference between 1T and 2T in 3dmark advanced and only scored 2 extra points in the Physics test.

Thanks Rossi ill try those and see how i get on.

tried 96 dram refresh cycle time?

I only bother with that in the secondary timings, the rest I find are fine on auto

With 16gb Samsung IC try these secondarys. 5,196,auto12,6,26,6,5,8 down the Bios. With 1T command rate.

Dont bench with 16gb man!!! 8 Is enough!!!

Try The seconds like this 5,224,Auto,16,6,26,6,8

Ok ok, i will try ditching 8gb. If all goes well it will be up on the MM before long. :p

I will dtch 8gb and try the 1st timings you posted, then the 2nd and report back.

Well what do you know. Remove 8gb and 1T is stable with the 1st set of timings you listed 8pack. :) Guess im gonna have to sell the other 8gb.

I wonder if i might be able to increase the BLK speed now? I wasn't able to get it stable before. I quite fancy trying to run the ram at 2202mhz.

Holy crap balls. Getting more from this an i expected. Dram voltage up to 1.6v vccio 1.1 vccio and stable. Got the ram speed up to 2233 100mhz faster than my last stable settings and this is using 1T and 8packs original secondary timings from his 1st post in this thread.

I think my max i can get stable is 105BLK. Not sure if thats good or bad. I could maybe go higher if i add silly volts to VCCIO.

105BLK needs quite a jump in VCCIO 1.15v or something, not sure its worth going any higher.

Back when these were out for just a couple of months there were batch compatibility issues. One kit not as good as another and then gave not so great overclock results with 16Gb.

This may be what you're experiencing, that and using a SB kit.

8pack i tried your timings and they were not stable but the first set you gave me worked fine. Can you give me better ones or should i move onto third timings now?

I would go with the thirds now.

Ok, what do you recommend? I feel like i have a bit to work with as i haven't had to touch voltage or anything since removing 8gb and changing those timings. Volts are still nice and low at 1.55v.
