No that i could see tested it on COD4,COD5 AA and COH have not seen any lag.
Cant see how the USB hub is of any great importance i have USB hub ports behing my pc in my keyboard and in the front of my pc thats more than enough for me.

I would say yes. because no has posted about having bar me, also a lot of other sites are still awaiting stock.
Drat its dropped in price again its cheaper that what i paid for it. a few weeks back...................and that was in the "this only week"

It seems that the Hyundai N240Wd meets or beats this screens specs (bar an extra 10deg on the horizontal viewing angle) and is cheaper. Is there any reason to go for this panel over the Hyundai other than the dynamic contrast stuff?

How does dynamic contrast perform in games/movies/desktop work anyway? The explanation I read of how it works seems to suggest it's somewhat annoying for games/movies and useless for desktop work.

Hi, the Hyundai N240Wd is a PVA screen so much better than a TN screen.
 
Have you tried the dynamic contrast yet? I'm wondering how it does in movies/games (i'm not putting too much faith in that explanation I read). I'm not really worried about colour accuracy, I'm mainly concerned about dark scenes (my current LCD cant display them worth a damn).

Also is there any noticeable colour tinge to the screen? My current LCD (Sharp LL-191A-B) has an annoying pink tinge to it at the bottom :(
 
Got mine today, have just set it up and no dead (sub) pixels :cool: there was also a VGA and DVI cable in the box even though it states there shouldn't be one on the website and in the manual :D

Color and IQ wise it looks the same as my 19" Samsung TFT, now I'm off to play Fallout 3 at 1920*1200 :D

Hi,I have not tried the dynamic contrast yet or watched any movies on it
I ahve no pink or blue tint what so ever on mt screen, colour likes nice and the dark images and blacks look fine.

Yeah same here got the extra leads and no dead pixels what so ever.
 
Had mine a few days now - not totally sure that I have it quite right - need to play a round some more.

Stand is fully adjustable - and monitor can flip into potrait position. No USB hub though (not that it bothers me!). And yes there was a DVI cable with it.

Now to the image quality - overall I would say its pretty good - no dead pixels and no bleeding. However the blacks are not as inky as on my old Viewsonic.

I personally don't like the buttons which are touch sensitive - mainly because I can't read whats on them without a torch!! However once its fully set up I doubt I'll be using them anyway.

Also the MagicTue software is not supported by my Graphics card - but I can do most of what I want through ATI Software.

Overall very happy though and would recommend it.

The black photo looks worse than it does in reality

I tried measuring the lag but I had trouble making out the numbers on the photos (on the CRT too, not due to any ghosting), it's only about 1 frame though so pretty decent.

Sadly the rotation isn't automatic, you can right click on the desktop and choose rotate from the popup menu though. I forgot to take a photo of it (sorry folks) but browsing the forums with it rotated is pretty nice :D It also seems to work ok with my dual screen setup \o/

The screen supports HDCP according to the box and "Cyberlink BD Advisor" confirms it.

I think that is because the flash is aimed at the CRT and the TFT is viewed from the side, also the brightness is way up on the CRT.
 
Yeah, the vertical viewing angle is a little less than i'd hoped for, but that's only a minor thing. The camera didn't seem to pick up the greys in that image too well, dunno why. They're fine in reality.
 
mine came today Christmas present for me boy, took it out gave it a quick check over no dead pixels which is good, damn it looked big next to my 20 inch nec lol , one thing i should have checked but will ask now can this be mounted on wall think i read some where it can .
