Wow the difference is amazing.. everything looks so much better up scaled to 4k.. used the settings from the AVS forums.

Treated myself to a copy of Suicide Squad on 4k HDR disc and did a comparison of the 1080p backup I have and the difference was night and day... colors pop, was a joy to watch..

Do you have Dynamic contrast on or off?

Off for both SDR and HDR content.

That's what most suggest, only i read some said with it off HDR can look a bit dark or not pop as much, even so its best to have that off.

I tested it on a couple of youtube HDR vids and i dont think it could have popped much more.

one that has musical instruments and different colored paints look really good.

My only trouble is getting the TV to recognise an HDR video in youtube.. works fine in Netflix, couldn't find any on amazon. Worked fine on BLuray through xbox one s

Has the Netflix app got support for HDR?

Also there is a program called Chef's Table on Netflix that gives a stunning picture in 4k, Ive since returned the KS7000 but when I watched it again on my standard HD set I could sure see the difference in detail.

Yes. on my Nvidia shield I had to reboot it before it showed. now things like Luke cage and iron fist say HDR next tot he title and the TV shows a message saying HDR signal being received

Relatives just got a 49KS7000 and we were all impressed by the image quality even when upscaling 1080i content. Even the sound was not that bad either!!
