This is by the strangest experience I've had. My 8 month old SSD had a BSOD and it wouldn't boot back up. I've ran various diagnostics on it and it's certainly dead.

I bought it from the Rain forest and they offered me a refund but it seems it's now discontinued across the board replaced by the 840. However, there's a difference between the standard and pro which is significantly expensiver.

I've never had a Samsung drive fail on me in the best but it's a real shame.

I've tried to get in touch with Samsung but I've not had much luck. Could anyone advise the best means for an RMA?

Should I just get a refund and try a Crucial drive out?

is it deffo kaput?

it sometimes locks itself out if it detects a problem, idk if they have an led on them but that will light up if it has

tried fully clearing the motherboards cmos and see if it picks up the drive? beware as it will reset all your bios/oc settings to default so make a note beforehand
