Samsung 840 evo ssd question

just a quick question here, are samsung likely to be putting a refresh of the 840 evo series ssd's anytime soon as i am very tempted to go and get a 1tb with that £50 cashback offer they have going on current models.

I'm not sure if Samsung have anything planned for the near future, but I doubt there would be any significant increase in performance if they were to release an updated EVO.

Even if they do release a new model next week, I'd expect the prices to be a little higher than they are currently.

I'd buy the EVO now.

Definitely buy the EVO now, even a revision wouldn't see speeds or IOP's much higher, the general limit at 6gb/s is 550 anyway
