The later includes a cable, your motherboard should have come with SATA cables?
I bought the Basic version, also if I can remember when I bought the Gigabyte Z77 D3H motherboard, it came with a SATA 3 cable, but do you know what colour cable it was?
The board should have been supplied with two blue cables and two black cables.

SATA III cable may be made to a higher specification to guarantee SATA 3 speeds but practically speaking there's no difference unless you use a particularly cheap and nasty cable.
But you might as well use a SATA 3 cable as you have one.
SATA 3 cables (may?) have locking latches on if that helps to identify them for you.
