Looking for a decent 500 GB SSD, is the 850 any good? It's about the right price I want to pay.

Brilliant drives, I have a 250GB for my OS and a 1TB for Steam games etc.

So far I can't fault the 850 evo either. I also researched quite a bit and concluded it was worth going for it given its wide user base in speed and reliability.

Enjoy! The 850 Evo is definitely one of the best SSDs out there for price/performance.

I've also got an MX300 on sale from that jungle reseller, and while a little slower in benchmarks and under some heavier workloads, day to day it's a champ for quite a bit less money as well.
