I need a bit of help installing the drive in the title.

I can select in my Bios (Asus Maximus VIII board) as a boot drive, and Windows 10 64 can see it as a disk drive ("NVMe Samsung SSD 950").

I have installed the latest drivers from Samsung.

The problem I have is, I cannot select the drive in Windows Disk Manager to add a drive letter and use it!! I have wasted 1/2 day on this.

AOMEI Partition Assistant allows me to format the drive and change its label, but won't allow me to assign a drive letter. It tells me I have to do it via Windows' Disk Manager... which as I mentioned before does not see it (even though Device Manager does!!)

Please help. Much appreciated.

Strange indeed. According to Samsung's documentation the drive should be installed - Samsung's "NVMe Controller" is under "Storage Controller" in Device Manager and is "working properly" and under "Disk Drives", "NVMe Samsung SSD 950 SCSI Disk Device" is present.
