Hi,

Have just ran AS SSD benchmark and got Read: 800Mb/s & Write: 650Mb/s I have the 256GB drive so both read/write should be double+

Not sure what I've done wrong so would appreciate some help.

BIOS pci_e slots set to Gen3
UEFI
AHCI

I will get photos of the bios as you will probably understand more.

Thanks.

Have you checked the following in the BIOS:
▶▶Sets M.2 source link.
[Auto] M.2 source link will be switched automatically based on CPU BCLK
frequency or XMP profiles.
[PCH] Enables PCH when overclocking or last PCI Express x16 slot was
installed.
▶▶M.2 PCH Strap [M.2 PCH SATA]
Sets M.2 module interface when the “M.2 Source Link” set to [PCH].
[M.2 PCH SATA] Enables M.2 PCH SATA when M.2 SATA interface module was
installed.
[M.2 PCH PCIE] Enables M.2 PCH PCIE when M.2 PCIe interface module was
installed

The Samsung pic shows reduced bandwidth on the slot which would be the probably cause of your issues.

Rensin

First thing I notice on your Magician is:

"Bandwidth current 8Gbps" !!!

Question.. is your M2 slot not set to run at full speed for some reason? Certainly looks like it would tie up with the seq. speeds you are getting.

Edit...Just noticed that Rabtech has spotted this as well.

thanks for the reply guys,
As per the manual I'm sure I have the settings correct. I reset my BIOS and only changed the XMP profile (3000Mhz)
The last x16 slot is epmty so set the Source Link to "Auto"
M.2 PCH Strap is set to M.2 PCH PCI_E

This would be correct?
