Hi,

So I just purchased a couple of 980 Pro's, Have already installed the OS on one of them and have games on the other, What I wanted to know was I was about to over provision the drives in Samsung Magician when it prompt warned me that DATA could be damaged? Is this the case? Or is it just a warning? I really don't want to have to install the OS again?

Thanks in advance.

Over provision is just there as a dummy barrier to stop you filling the drive too much, but you don't need it if you just keep an eye on your storage

I'm using it on my 980 pro but only cause I'm lazy, my drive is nearly full but I'm too lazy to keep checking it so I setup OP to stop me from filling too much

Yeah sure makes sense, If that's all it is for I'm quite savvy to not filling a drive up too much in that case I'll not bother with it cheers.
