Samsung Cf791 or Acer Predator x34a?

one thing I found with the Samsung should add, is that at first I found it strained the eyes not sure why but that being said you do get used to it. Maybe it's the aggressive curve I'm not sure but I know another user who thought the same they kept there panel thou :)
 
Thanks for everyones help, i'm so indecisive at the best of times so this has not been easy. I think I would be happy with any of the choices but when you are spending this amount, id like it to be the right one. Now why don't OCUK offer free delivery at this price point :D

Suspect they still subsidise it, box is massive. Or else they get a bulk discount.
 
Just to add some form of closure to this;

I have ordered the acer x34a. My catalogue had it with £100 off and £100 extra back if you use buy now pay later. I set up a new account in my wife's name and due to a new account discount they knocked a further £90 off so all in all I got an x34a for £713 delivered!

Now I'm going to be like a kid on Christmas Eve!

Congrats on purchase , hopefully its trouble free for you :)
 
I wouldn't feel comfotable spending £1000+ on one as we approach the new iterations of screen technology but at £700 it was the perfect price point. Im happy to be a generation behind as long as I still get the wow factor, which I am certain i will. Just hope the move from 1ms 144hz does not put me off too much as I play a lot of FPS
