Samsung D600 problem

Hey,

I've got an old Samsung D600 that I got with my Orange monthly contract a couple of years ago, and I've been trying to get it working with an Orange pay as you go sim. When i put the sim in, it connects to the network and I get a half decent reception, but it just doesn't make calls. Is it that the phone has been locked to my old pay monthly sim or something else? Anyone know how I can fix it? Thanks

hi there, same phone but i think like post 2 it may be dying. the last few months lots of lil things started to fail with my d600. First the OK button in the middle failed then the up arrow stopped working. 2 months later the down arrow failed too. Maybe it really is the begining of the end and all D600 phones will implode together in a big samsung happy new year take over the world bid.

Well it still works fine with my Orange contract sim so I doubt it's dieing!

Hmm how long since you used the PAYG sim?

yeah can u try the PAYG sim in another phone to make sure its working?

Yeh it seems to be working in other phones, it instantly received a text from orange as soon as i switched it on!
