Samsung EVO 840 BIOS Issue

Just built my new system and it all fired up first time no problem. However I cannot get my new Samsung SSD to show in the BIOS. Using an MSI Z87-G45 motherboard.

Other drives work fine with the SATA port, and the drive shows up fine when I hooked it up to my old 775 system.

Any suggestions?

Doesn't pick up my 3TB Seagate either!

Not too familiar with msi bios, but ive got an asrock one. I know that i have to enable bootable media to get it to show, have you tried switching the modes from IDE to AHCI as well? as well as trying different controllers on your motherboard like the sata 2 section if it has it? also check with your manual to see if the boot drive needs to be on a specific spot.
