Hi guys i just built a sandybridge on a asus pro, everything is running really well, but in the ufi bios its not detecting my f3 but when im into windows its there as drive D,my ssd is fine and the f3 seems to work just can,t see it in the bios any ideas.

It sounds like you have it plugged into the marvell sata ports (dark blue) which is a seperate controller and would be normal for it to not show up in bios.

Just semi on topic here. Is the P67 rather picky about which port the boot drive goes on? Had it fine, transplanted cases and probably haven't plugged the vertex into the "right" port. Still finishing the build so it'll get sorted but if anyone knows for sure... :)

Currently I have to nip into the bios and manually select the vertex as boot drive (it comes up at "P2 - Vertex SSD" so I think wrong port?
