Samsung Galaxy S24 Family Thread

Yup, it's too late now to get delivery details for tomorrow, so it's definitely 24th! And been checking other threads and forums even in the states, no delivery yet.

I have just learnt the official samsung protectors might be anti-reflective too (like the screen), so might swap to that one instead of an amazon ESR one (for those that didn't get the free case/protectors code)

i just never bother with a screen protector.. at most I have had a small hairline scratch after 2 years that was only really visible under bright light but not something I ever noticed when using the phone.

of course, everyone has different work/life environments but this is just me personally.

Yes the name of the product 'Anti Reflective Screen Protector' really does give it away

Wake up for me was when a colleague at work turned up with his S23U 4 days old with a massive scratch down the centre of the screen. Instantly ordered some protectors after that!

yeah I used to always rock a screen protector.. stopped when they started with the curved edges as none of the protectors fitted well enough to not annoy me or collect dust around the edges, now we're back to flat screen I may consider one.

for curved screens you can get UV glue tempered glass ones only ones that work well, but stay away from cheap ones as you can get ones that stick like super glue and probably end up scratching the screen if you need to take off, few brands I know have the ones that are easy to take off they cost more but worth it imo

Those of you who have never used a Screen Protector on your S22U or S23U how has the Oleophobic Coating held up?

It wore off on my S21U within 6 months. The screen was a big ole mess with every touch from then on.
