Samsung Hard Drive Returns?

Hi guys,

The 500GB drive in my media centre has died :mad:

It's making a clicking/grinding noise and I need to get it replaced.

Can someone tell me how I go about returning a hard drive to Samsung? I can't seem to find where to do it on their website. Also, I cannot remember where I bought this drive! I've only had it about 6 or 7 months. How long do they normally take to repair/replace a drive?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Only had to rma one samsung drive in the past and took about 10 days for a new retail boxed drive to come:

My new 500gb was returned 2 days after I sent the faulty one off! I couldnt believe the speed.

That is the perfect answer! Thank you very much! Thank goodness they go by manufacturer's date because I really can't remember where I got it from! Thanks a lot Deluxe1. You have saved me a lot of agro

Terrific! I hope they can do that for me too. I'll try sending it tomorrow special delivery so they get it on Monday. I'll be thrilled if I get it back in the same week

What model drive was it? T500 - HD501LJ by any chance?
