"Samsung today announced the global launch of its CFG70 curved monitor, designed specifically for professional gamers,
includes enhanced picture quality and player-friendly features for a truly immersive gaming experience.

As the industry’s first curved gaming monitor to feature quantum dot technology,
the CFG70 monitor (24- and 27-inch models) expresses brilliant and accurate colors across a 125 percent sRGB spectrum.
This added luminance produces a 3,000:1 contrast ratio and amplifies previously-hidden gaming details in both light and dark settings.
The monitor also employs an environmentally-safe, cadmium-free design."

Wonder when this will actually be available to buy. Half tempted as the 34" drool worthy 100hz monitor is going to be mega bucks.

They launched it 2 months ago to the press, so not sure what this is about.

It's not launched in the sense of available to buy. Whilst listed in some places and countries, still no ETAs or stock.

Either way, I'll be getting one.

1ms GTG (quoted) 144hz QD SVA seems like the dream, as OLED has been kicked into the grass for the umpteenth time.

Yeah for the cards we have now, its seems an ideal match performance wise and should be a good screen.

Just cant ever go back to 27" now.................

27 inch and curved? Was there really any need for that?
There is an obvious curve fad, but also at least one practical reason - its VA, so curve helps with reducing off-centre gamma shift, which is rather pronounced on monitors you sitting close to (unlike TV).
