Samsung Launches Quantum Dot Curved Gaming Monitor

There isnt one thats why :(

There aren't any 27" 2560 x 1440 VA panels in production and there never has been, unfortunately. Of any refresh rate. Samsung are apparently working on a 32" 2560 x 1440 panel with high refresh rate, so I expect to see a product using this next year.

Quantum Milking

Given the price of the cf791 that's true....
In US 1000 usd. In Europe 1200 euro. In UK I bet around 1300-1400 quid.
Screw them. I will import one from the states. It will cost less than 1000 quid with the vat paid and transport from there, with today exchange rate.

Don't forget import duties. It will not be less than £1000 after all of that. But UK price remains to be seen, I think preparing for that to be rather high is sensible.

At customs we pay only vat in this case.
Monitors from US, if the correct article is used (for pc monitor) has no import charges.
Same applies to all electronics if declared with their correct articles/codes

Wish you told them this when my Japanese Gamecube was stung for £160.

$1000 / 1.20 = £833.33, add 20% back on for VAT and boom still £1000, then add your cost of shipping it over and its still over £1000.......

Weird choice since they already have a 34" 3440 x 1440 100Hz screen coming soon?

Not everybody wants a 21:9 model, though. And some people prefer extra physical vertical height.

True, forgot about that.

I am actually interested in this widescreen VA panel as a swap from my 32" 4k screen.

I have always had a soft heart for VA screens.

However with RRP €1200 in Europe, I doubt we going to find it less than £1200 in UK, with VAT of course.
£1400+ more likely.
