Samsung Magician

Hi All,

Got my new rig yesterday and I'm confused about enabling TRIM on Samsung Magician.

On a previous rig 840 the magician gave me that option but on my256GB 840 Pro I cannot find where to enable TRIm or disable frag?

not sure but if its win7/8 you can run windows experience index and it disables defrag and trim should already be enabled

to check for trim run ssdlife and it will tell you

start/control panel/system and security/system

then click the link for windows experience index and run test

Great now done it.

My score was 7.9 and defrag was off. SSD Life told me TRIM was enabled so all is well.
