Samsung Note 10.1 or tab Pro 10.1?

Evening all,

Looking at the samsung tablet range and I'm getting a little lost as to which device to go for. I have a nexus 7 and its too small and I want a 10" tablet for work and home.

I have a note 3 and love it but which is best to go for of the tab pro and note 10.1?

They seem the same to me but am I missing something?

Talk about very similiar specs.

The differences I can see are:

Note 10.1 advantages:

More RAM (3GB vs 2GB)
64GB model avaliable
S-Pen

Tab Pro 10.1 advantages:

Lighter (477g vs 540g)

Apart from that, everything else seems pretty much the same.

Thanks for the reply. So as I thought the real difference is the s pen.

No one seems to sell it with a pay monthly 3/4g deal??

Right I've just ordered a Tab Pro 10.1 for £312 from amazon with prime so should be with me on Tuesday!

I think that's a bargain, going to tether it to my note 3 when not in wifi

Hi all,

I'm also looking into a large tablet. I like the 4:3 format of the iPad Air better but iOS is not for me so it seems the Tab Pro 10.1 is the next best thing in terms of similar weight and size.

I'm put off by the ridiculous UK retail price though at £450 and I'm pretty sure those selling for around £300 on Amazon Market place are grey imports, and I'm concerned the warranty, if any, won't be valid in the UK. Any experience with those?

When mine arrives I will register it with samsung and report back.

I've not had any problems before.

I really think the ios software let's the ipad down big time and the samsung tablets offer so much more.

People will still by them like mad though.

if its for work then choose the latter. it has more ram which will be helpful for resource intensive tasks.

Ok so an update. I've had this a few days now and I love it!

It has been fantastic so far, really impressive and tethers to my phone when out of the office like a dream.

Performance wise I cannot fault it. Blown away by it!
