Thanks dude, so, any recommendations on spare batteries and a good sturdy, tall tripod? (preferably carbon fibre)
The original batteries aren't too bad, there is also some aftermarket clones on Amazon which are very well rated. I bought a cheap hama tripod, it's decent enough but the ball head literally fell apart. I'm sure the guys here can recommend something better. Failing that a gorillapod can also be really handy if you are short for space. It's always in the my car boot.
