Which tweaks have made a noticable difference would you say?

I have increased volume but not by modifying registry but thet sound hack you can find on the internet and iv just upped some of the values. Not sure if its made a difference but i think it has.

I have done the Improve Screen Calibration Accuracy. Not sure if this has made any difference to anything to be honest. What exactly is it supposed to do. Have you noticed any difference?

Tried the Silverbox Email Client but it kept giving me error messages when i clicked on messages and wouldnt open at all so had to revert back.

Which other tweaks have you actually done and what difference if any have you noticed?

Stablity wise I haven't had a single problem, seems to be working fine for about 5 days so far. Not sure about the clock, imagine it can be change via themes and such.

And yes the clock is crap. And it needs Flash 3.1 installed.

Question my Omnia is off to Sammy to get sorted. Will they be able to tell that I tried to flash to a custom ROM. (all I get is the Samsung Omnia screen).

Im guessing they will try and reflash the phone.

Not sure if they can tell - but just wondering which repair center is taking care of your handset?

My local can not reflash or repair the latest sammys. So its off to head office (repair centre) RMSD pack sat here waiting.

Did you duff it up while flashing, or is it a problem with the ROM?

it went wrong trying to find port to do the last bit IIRC

ive flashed to other roms from that one with no problems

I did this and the calibration was way out for me. All it's doing is setting it to the calibration of one person's screen who got it calibrated well. The problem is that the whole reason that you calibrate is because it's different for each person.

I have tried all the different ROMS and none of the flash (even tho they say they have)

The only one I can flash to is M2DO4.

I have tried everything I can find grand prix flashing the lot.

Cool. I had the problem when flashing, just installed the modem driver, then reflashed and had no problems at all. Strange how it wont work for him.

Im thinking that some part of the memory may be fried. As it got very hot when I flashed it.

i had a martin fields protector on mine, was ace

No problems.

just phoned samsung and they are waiting for a component, (new screen or something I guess) no ETA but he said phone monday and it shouldnt be too long
