Samsung One UI 7

Samsung was advised after upgraded software Android 15 One UI 7 to do follow these steps to avoid battery drains and slower down phone:

Turn off the device.
• Connect the phone to a computer or USB-C headphones. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
• When the Android logo appears, release all three keys.
• Use the Volume Down button to highlight Wipe cache partition.
• Press the Power button to select Wipe cache partition. • Use Volume Down to highlight Yes.
• Press the Power button to confirm the action.

If you're talking about the time widget on your homescreen then a long press should pop up a menu. If it doesn't then I've no idea why not, I use Novalauncher but pretty sure the stock OneUI does the same thing.

Agreed. Stock launcher, press and hold on the home screen and it brings up a menu at the bottom. One of which is widgets

Christ this is the worst update ever, I want 6.1 back :(
Samsung should put recovery mode option to downgrade back if don't like the new software before 28 days deadline, I wish to downgrade back but sadly you need root to get it downgrade (banking app won't accept root phone that's the problem)

Not impressed by the new update, only change I like is that when I set a timer it appears in the top bar.

Lots of annoyances but I'm generally ok with it now that battery life has settled down.

Speaking of battery, the small percentage inside the battery icon is often too small to read with my ageing eyes.

Same here. I've just installed the latest update and the new battery icon is bloody awful, it's just harder to read the numbers with the split black and grey areas. I googled it and see there's a lot of complaints about it so hopefully Samsung will rectify it in a new update.

I also didn't like the separate swipe down areas with left and centre for notifications and right side for the top quick settings. So I swiped down on the right and clicked on the edit pencil and then panel settings and then clicked on 'together' which has made it like it was before and I can now pull down from anywhere for notifications and quick settings.

On my S21FE, when pinching out to zoom, I'm having to do it two or three times before the screen responds. I don't recall having this until very recently and am wondering if it's anything to do with this UI 7? I've turned touch sensitivity on but made no difference.

I had a lot of problems with the camera being very slow after the last update on my S22. Cleared data and cache from camera app and that seems to have sorted it out.
