iv got hold of a sata m.2 drive, its a SAMSUNG MZNLH128HBHQ-000H1 128.0 GB model
Current firmware is RVT22H0Q.
anyone know if there is newer firmware for this drive and if so where to get it from? magician software doesnt seem to support the drive.

The only possibility would be to track down an OEM laptop or desktop PC that it was officially supplied in, and see if a Firmware update is available from that manufacturer (however your may need to bypass any vendor locking of any EXE updates for example)

HP are normally fairly good for SSD drive updates e.g. this model has Intel, SK Hynix, and Toshiba SSD firmwares

however a quick look of models that users have reported had Samsung drives, they don't seem to have any firmware updates available

Will check out the links above.

Was just worried this may be a problematic ssd that needed firmware updates.
Yes this was from work laptops that got switched to bigger drives from the get go.
