So I found them for the same price, £1499. Looking at reviews of the LG, it seems it has better blacks than the Samsung Q7F and a better refresh rate for gaming. Not many reviews of the Q8F yet.

I've always had Samsung TV's and was sure I was going to get a QLED when they were announced. But after seeing them when compared to the LGB7 (which I now own), the picture just doesn't come close imo, granted this was the Q7F. It's lovely and bright but just seems like such a false looking picture in comparison.

When you can get an LG OLED for the same price, there's absolutely no reason to look at the QLED range in my opinion, you get so much more for your money with the LG.

Can't see how they would have closed that gap for with the Q8F compared to the Q7F

LG all the way. Spent a lot of hours this weekend watching reviews/comparisons and seeing in store demos and it was a lot better. 120hz is more than enough for gaming as well.

Think the tv10 code on currys may still work, so brings price to £1350.

I would also go for the LG. But that is more the result of my dislike for Samsung customer support, and my promise to not buy such appliances with a Samsung name again. (I am going to excuse myself from their phones however, as, well, screw Apple).

No, don't do that, you'll be able to get the TV for around that price again in the near future I suspect. When Curry's put offers on like this and they see the sheer number of them they sell they usually run different but similar priced offers over the next few weeks to keep shifting incoming stock.

PC world showing as having it in stock when I select home delivery.

Could try call them and see if they will match with the Curry's code, seeing how they pretty much the same company now.

yes agree, they have 40% additional oled production capability, and even on last years price tracking it was post black friday for best deals,
check out the price trackers, they also made this comment on the Gadget Show (although that is reliable like whathifi magazine)

Not sure why the Panasonic Oled is not also on the menu ez195b? , only reached £1800 in Black Friday, but I thought it touched £1500 earlier ?
checkout htdvtest/Vincent comparison with b/c7 - Vincent liked its tone mapping ( need to declare an interest with reliability&build of Panasonics in the family. )
Yes, no dv, but if you have good tone-mapping ? the dynamic tone mapping on the b/c7 is meant to offset the need for dv too.

What Hifi give a bad review of it's HDR capability, plus it's more expensive.

Vaughnes in wales were showing B7 in stock at £1350 earlier, wanted the richersounds 6 year warranty so got a price match, just hope it's ok when I try it later tonight.

should not mention the 'w*a* H*f*' word too much on here, many, self included, have little respect for them ,but yes, Pan oled is currently more expensive.
I trust Vincents' review much more, and without being able to audition in your house, you have to trust someone.
