Battery life from Chinese brands is typically at the expense of your apps. See dontkillmyapp.

If you rely on some apps running in the background (alarms, etc) the very aggressive app killing to fake save battery can be a huge annoyance.

Never once suffered from this on my mate 20 pro. Guess not all Chinese brands are the same?
