Well I got mine today and I'm baffled by it. I had been using my Benq XL2410T up until midday at 120hz. This turned up, uninstalled all monitor and video drivers, connected this beautiful looking thing with the supplied DVI cable, no 120HZ option at all. The other weird thing is NVidia control panel is telling me I'm connected by HDMI. I dont even own a HDMI cable. The monitor knows it DVI, the PHYSX control panel indicates I'm connected by DVI but the connection selector gives me the option to select HDMI Audio Enabled or HDMI Audio Disabled. It defaults to HD 1920 x 1080 60 hz and the maximum PC resoultion available is 1680 x 1050 60hz. I cannot create a custom resolution any higher and there is no resolution at all with 120hz. I even formatted, grabbed the latest drivers from samsung etc. Installed the DVI driver (shows in device manager) but NVCP still shows connected by HDMI. I tried the Benq again and bang, straight in at 120hz. I'm not sure what to try now. Surely this thing can 2D game at 120? I'm using an MSI GTX580 Lightning and I am not interested at all in the 3D side of things yet, I just want it to do what the Benq does but with a little more style. Have now tried 3 different DVI cables (all Dual Link) and still the same. Have also tried several revisions of NVidia drivers. Still the same.
