Samsung Sata HD Help

Hi
Just put a 160gig sata hd into my system and set it up formatting,
windows finds it fine but the safely remove hardware icon is in tool bar
when I click on it the new hd is there? Why?

I think you can hot swop the drive. even though its your main drive.

Yes and no. SATA is hot swappable so appears in the Safely Remove Hardware list although you won't be able stop the system drive as there will always be locked files.
