I'm doing a new build with asrock extreme9 board and wanted to use m2.
I did foolish thing and tried to do fresh install of win 10 onto sm951 usind usb from other comp . New build didn't like it , so just hung . I then tried my old 7.1 disc which couldn't recognise the 951 ( presumably becuse win 10 formatted or tried to format ). I then installed 7.1 onto another ssd which works happily in new build ,but I cant find how to format the m2 .
Anybody help please .
 
The way I did it was.

Upgrade current 8.1 OS on my old SSD to 10.
Create win10 UEFI USB stick.
Unplug old SSD and set bios to UEFI and install windows 10 on the sm951 like normal.
Replug in old SSD and format.

This went without any problems.
