Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB problem

Hi all

I purchased a Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hdd and installed it into my Pc i have a Asus P5K-E Motherboard and also a maxtor 300GB and a Western Digital 500GB Hdd allready fitted.

Booted up ok but the samsung is not showing up in my computer windows screen, If i access in Control panel/system/hardware/device manager it is there and says fully working, Also it is there in my bios and is on Auto so i am a bit stuck now, I can build pc's and have built my own several times but i have never had 3 hard drives fitted so maybee i need to do something?

Am i doing something wrong or can someone point me in the right direction please??

Let me apologise in advance, I haven't used XP in yonks. But I think you are looking for administrative Tools > Computer Management > Storage > Disk Management.

Does any of that make any sense? I did a quick check and these things do exist in XP, but I can't check first hand.

Once you get to this screen, hopefully your course of action should be obvious. Format it to NTFS and give it a name.
