yeah seems very odd, mine doesnt lock up using that program, says on the Samsung software benching your drive often is bad for it, so if your not having any other problems with it other than it wont bench well, then ide just stop benching it

I don't agree. Drive shouldn't loock up in any way, it is not that cheap. I would understand that it is slow or something like that but not lock up to the point that only power off helps. If it loocks with IO meter then it may lock in ceirtan scenarios in normal operation. I have a lot of virtual machines and I don't like the idea that drive freezes and I loose some data just becouse the drive is buggy.
I have support case opened at samsung and I'm waiting for an answer, why this drive freezes with this test and all others I tested work fine.
I tested some more anyway. If I edit the all in one test and change 5 entries from 512bytes to 1k, drive lives. So it looks like that 512 byte sized transfers locks it up.
