I've just installed the Samsung 4.0 software off their website but it is saying my SSD isn't running in AHCI [yet in my BIOS it is] does anyone else have this error?

Just dowloaded and tested this with my 830,

It seems really bugy or does'nt always work right !!

I also noticed on there site seems to be 2 of the same downloads for this right next to one another,, whats that all about ?

For now I will stick with 3.2 version

I don't have this problem. Do you have disk connected to the right SATA ports?

Ugh, just checked and my BIOS update reset it to IDE instead of AHCI ... don't really want to reinstall Windows for the 3rd time in a 2 days, how much does it matter?

Sorry, fixed it now.

Basically Samsung SSD software said I wasn't running AHCI so I just checked my BIOS [I recently flashed it] and it was showing as IDE, so now I've fixed it by applying a registry fix and changing my BIOS to AHCI.
