Samsung SSD query

Hi,

I am going to purchase a new SSD for a friend, unlike the one I ordered which was advertised as a desktop set, I am unsure if the following one comes with extras like screws to install it into the case:

Yes. According to the picture anyway, it shows the mounting screws.

You just get the drive with the "Basic" version.

Does your friend's case have a mounting for 2.5" drives?

The necessary screws should have been provided with the case and he'll need a SATA data cable which he may have received with his motherboard.

You can also just fit an SSD somewhere using double sided tape, velcro etc.
