Just wondering if any1 could help me.I am trying to use my monitor with my ps3 so i have unplugged my pc from it.When i start my ps3 up it says not at recommended settings 1440 by 900 at 60HZ i think.I can get rid of this by pressing a button on my monitor.
Was just seeing if there was an easier way to set it up properly.Ive looked through the monitor menus and cant see anywhere to change the resolution settings same with the ps3 menu.

Thanks

Martyn

As you can see here, the monitors native resolution is 1440x900. LCD monitors can't shift their actual resoltion like crt monitors can - they have a fixed number of pixels. You could change thing on the video source side (ie PC or PS3) to display a different resolution, but it would look rather poor as it would be trying to emulate a number of pixels it doesn't have.

When you get this message at start up, does it prevent you from using the monitor or is it just a warning and continues in its operation?
