Merry Christmas to all. I have a samsung phone and tablet and they synchronise fantastic and the samsung web browser is absolutely brilliant
customisation you can do to suit your needs is great and I prefer it to microsoft edge and google chrome but this is the problem I am having is a lot of
websites ie: companies, facebook , and even my online banking site say you are using a unsupported browser how come that samsung who are just as big as these
other companies who refuse to let me use the browser that I want to use some websites I can't get on... so dose it look like I'm not going to be able to use samsung browser

I would try going into the Galaxy Store on your phone or tablet and try manually updating the browser app, they quite often don't update themselves. Samsung browser is Chromium based so it should work ok with your bank.

yes I was on my banking app doing something when it said
to go online banking and on the website it said I was using
a unsecured/unsupported browser which was samsung
 
I use the Samsung browser, much prefer it to Chrome or Firefox.

Works fine without any of the issues you have mentioned, never got any such message saying unsupported browser.
 
I've been using the Samsung browser for years with no issues. It works well, is lightweight and has all the extensions and ad block too.

I've had to update from the Samsung Store rather than the main store though.

No worries, are you able to take a screenshot of the error and upload that? I am struggling to understand what is actually happening.

Do you have an app you can use for your bank as they normally do?
yes my bank technical support went through some settings and it's working fine it's Just facebook keeps telling me I'm using a unsupported browser.

I don't use trashbook, but from a quick search online it seems other people have this issue too, with no solution other than use a different browser, so I think that's your only option.
 
+1 for Firefox but I like the Samsung browser as well.

Another workaround for internet banking is to use the app that your bank provides e.g. the Santander app, then you don't need to use the browser. However, a few things do require you using a browser e.g. setting up a new payee. I do this at home on a desktop browser. Then for day-to-day use, the banking app is fine.
