Is the Samsung Syncmaster F2380M good enough for gaming? Currently I am playing Dirt 2, some FPS games and FM2010.
I am moving into a new flat and need a new monitor, hence the question?
For what it lacks in responsiveness it makes up for in colour reproduction and viewing angles (PVA technology). TN panels are cheaper and give better response times but after using a Dell 2407 (PVA) for the past 2 and half years I will never go back to TN and I play FPS on it all the time and I have to honest I’ve never seen ghosting or blurring on it and it’s not a practically quick screen (it’s not that great for films though).
It's cheaper because it's a TN display, you can't really compare your one to his because the one he wants to buy a PVA display which gives mch better colour reproduction and better viewing angles.
