I had issue with losing random files. I ran Hutil from Samsung's website and load issue were found on extended scan bad sectors on a disk etc.

Dos prompt said do a erase using the tool and run again , if there still error contact samsung support. So i backed up and did this.

It's now passed the extend test twice with no issue's - is drive safe to use? or should i send back to samsung anyway

It's a 2 3/4 year old 320GB Samsung Spinpoint btw
