Samung Spinpoint drive spinning down

Hey!

I'm having an issue with both Samsung Spinpoint EcoGreen drives (1TB F3 and 2TB F3) in my computer. After a short while (it's hard to tell an exact time), attempting to access the drive results in a waiting time, the sound of the drive spinning up, and then a click before i can actually access it.

So far i've got the impression it's because the drives are EcoGreen, but it seems such a short time before the drives spin down, which makes it a bit inconvenient since they're my main storage.

Basically, is there a way to either stop them spinning down, or increase the time it takes before they do?

Sorry if this has been posted before btw, i may be rubbish at searching but couldnt find anything

You can either sopt them spinning down using windows via control panel>power settings or you can use something like or there is a piece of software (I forget its name) which enables you to directly access the mangement settings of the drive and you can set it in there.
